Background Information
Operation Overlord was the first combat drop into main-land Europe by Allied Forces. With the guise of striking the weak underbelly of Europe, men of the 82nd Airborne Division, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment are deployed to multiple Drop Zones near Salerno to support the allied naval invasion and contestation of the Italian mainland: with their focus on securing choke points and eliminating enemy support assets.
