  1. That sucks. Im sure I can speak on behalf of all aviators. We would have loved to have had it.
  2. Every time we rearm the AH-1P in a mission, we just take a ammo truck to the aircraft, and hit "rearm" in ace. If we could alter the ACE settings to where it would not just rearm the entire airframe, and instead we could reload the aircraft rocket by rocket to add time to the reload process, we aviators would appreciate it. As this would add a significant amount of realism for us.

  6. To All Members of How Company, 1st Platoon, Regretfully, I have to announce the resignation and discharge of Staff Sergeant Tom Kazansky. In light of this event, Corporal Craig Mantle, effectively immediately, has been made the new 1st Squad Leader. For the time being, 1st Squad will acting as the Trail or Security Squad for the Platoon. Corporal Craig Mantle has the full faith of the 1st Platoon Leader and myself. Any questions should appropriately be directed to myself or 1st Lt. Charles Henderson. Technical Sergeant James Randazzo Platoon Sergeant, 1/H/3/502ndPIR
  7. Service Name: James Randazzo Suggestion or Curation: DBO Horses Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1470493486&searchtext=horse Description & Why: Well, simply put, we know that such a large amount of logistical work and messages were delivered by horse with the German Wehrmacht. Adding this mod, I feel would add realism to the unit. Being able to shoot a German Solider on horse back delivering a message is realistic to the time period.
  8. Service Name: James Randazzo Suggestion or Curation: PIR WW2 Animations Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2411199136&searchtext=ww2+animation Description & Why: AI Modification: Well, simply put, the running animations and walking animations are utter garbage for the base game. This mod makes it so the animations when walking with a rifle are more accurate to real life, in addition, when running with a rifle the animation is real to life and there is more sway in the character. As well, when running your character may also pivot as one would do in real life. I tried to record the animations in-game but my shadow play is not working at the moment so I took some screenshots instead. Also I understand Project Injury Reaction on its own can be very laggy with the additions to the game. However just like with ACE you can disable all of the features it adds so this should prevent any performance impact to the game, but I would assume some testing would need to be done.
  9. Yes this can be done. Should be available now in the discord.

  14. August 24th To all whom are interested, Recently there has been several openings created within the unit Staff Shops. Being in an s-shop role grants a faster track to promotion, leadership and tertiary roles. Taking the initiative and helping the community is something everyone can appreciate, the workload is vast for all of us but with a few more helping hands we can get it sorted. Here's what's open: S-2 - Operations & Intelligence • 1x Electronic Maintenance Chief (Gamemaster/Mission Maker) Charged with developing missions, utilizing unit templates and scripts to proliferate missions that have depth, role-play elements and provide an excellent World War II combat experience, or something of the mission makers choice. This job involves a lot of teamwork, problem solving and learning the backends of ArmA. S-3 - Force Improvement Group • 1x Junior Drill Instructor The Drill Instructor is one of the most vital roles in the community, playing a part in tailoring new members of the community to the standards necessary to fulfill the statement of "historical-realism" and fast track them with the skills they need to operate appropriately. This job involves a lot more interactive work with trainees in the community and requires attention to detail, the ability to recall information quickly and be creative with teaching. S-4 - Logistics, Multimedia, Corps of Engineers • 3x PERSCOM Maintenance Specialist PERSCOM Maintenance Specialists take care of the back end paperwork and management of the unit. You received an award, combat record or service who did it? These guys are the ones doing it. They make the most promotion points out of all s-shops here consistently for their dutiful dedication to organization, record keeping and management. • 1x Multimedia Specialist The multimedia specialist is responsible for the development of imagery for the unit, whether they be for mission aerial photography, operation instruction maps, in-game photos/videos... that's up to the specialist! This job is the most creative and least demanding of them all. Requires photoshop or the will to acquire it. • 1x Uniform Production Specialist The uniform production specialist takes care of tailoring all of the lovely uniforms and shiny awards the adorn them on PERSCOM. After each promotion ceremony, the assigned teams are sorted and go to work sewing on new chevrons, pinning new medals and adorning awards as necessary.
